Mission
Higher education and vocational trades serve as required resources that create pathways for incarcerated youth to reenter society. This Prison to College Pipeline (P2CP) serves as a form of social justice equalizing the distribution of wealth, opportunities, and privileges for minority and poverty-stricken incarcerated youth.
Vision
This Pathway to Prevention program initiates a vision for change for young adults. Participants will acquire confident decision making skills through educational options, and progressive problem solving skills through workforce training. Youth who complete the Pathway to Prevention scholarship program, will contribute back to humanity while serving as mentoring models to the youth. Thus, creating a bridge back into the community. The Bridge transitional housing facilities will help youth build resources, implement development, growth, and education upon release. Youth who navigate across The Bridge can: reenter the world in a restored position, make a positive impact in society, and bring visibility to their experiences in a professional, real-world, and healing environment.
